We may be able to help!
For commercial and office moves, we can certainly help! Our customers need only consider the same abilities and limitations we have for hauling freight.
Residential moves of individual-owned personal household belongings are another matter - but we may still be able to help! At this time, Nicholson Logistics does not hold the required bonds or permits to legally operate as a full-service moving company, but there are legal exceptions.
We CAN help with a residential move of household goods IF:

Residential moves of individual-owned personal household belongings are another matter - but we may still be able to help! At this time, Nicholson Logistics does not hold the required bonds or permits to legally operate as a full-service moving company, but there are legal exceptions.
We CAN help with a residential move of household goods IF:
- We are merely transporting goods that are packed, loaded, and unloaded by the customer.
- The customer owns or rents the vehicles used for transport - in which case, we CAN assist with loading and unloading.
- We load and/or unload your household goods onto a vehicle, but do NOT transport your belongings.
For further consideration:
- We do not prepare and/or pack moving items for residential or commercial moves.
- Because we do not employ team drivers, we do not handle large appliances, large furniture, or other large, heavy items on our own. If we are allowed to participate in loading or unloading, customer assistance with large and heavy items is required and expected.
- We do not install appliances or remove old units for recycling or disposal.
- We do not provide boxes, crates, packing tape, or other packing materials.
- We DO provide our truck, loading ramp, dolly, straps, rope, load bars, blankets, and tarps (limited to stock on-hand), depending on the type of service we're hired for, and if we are provided a signed waiver of liability from the customer.
Experience:
Over the years, we've been involved in dozens of moves under various conditions and circumstances. Varying legal restrictions and allowances in different states account for some of those circumstances. So far, we've helped people move in the states of WA, OR, CA, and TX. Almost all of those moves involved trucks that were rented by those we were serving, thus allowing us to assist with loading and unloading. Using our truck, we've assisted in several commercial moves, but as of the last website update, only one residential move from CA to TX. Though we have limited experience in moves of any type, we welcome the chance to serve you and gain more experience should your circumstances fall within the legal allowances in the state or states involved in your move.
