All Zones
Literally (almost) Everywhere!
The map says it all! Within North America, there aren't many places we aren't willing to go (if the overall feasibility makes sense and all involved parties benefit.) So far we've taken loads to or from WA, OR, ID, MT, CA, UT, CO, NE, TX, PA, and B.C. Canada. Where can we take your next load?
The Colors and Numbers?
The colors and numbers on the map represent different Zones, and are mostly an internal guide to help us determine our policies and pricing. We operate a little differently in each of these Zones depending on a variety of factors such as current market trends, seasonal influences, weather, geography and road conditions, state and provincial laws, and other considerations. When our customers call for quotes or other inquiries, a more relevant explanation is provided.
Zones 1 and 2
These Zones are special! Why? Because we call Zone 1 "Home", and it's in Zones 1 and 2 where almost all of our services have been provided over the years. In the drop-down menu under "Service Areas", you'll find pages with more information about these two Zones. For more information about these or any other Zone, just ask!
And now about our Rates!
With all service-based companies, rates can and do fluctuate often! The delivery business is no exception. To provide published rates for all of our service areas would be a daunting task and require constant website updates. So we ask our customers to call or leave a message via our contact page for current quotes and inquiries. All we can say here is that we try to stay competitive - especially for loads closer to home, but our goal of maintaining excellent service, safety, and operating within the law is even more important!
Please call us at (425)750-0589 or send us an inquiry via our Contact page to get a quote based on current market, seasonal, weather, and road conditions*.
* Certain conditions, such as seasonal demand, weather, fires, floods, road conditions, remote locations, or even social unrest in any given area, may result in our need to charge higher rates. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any load for any reason before leaving for pickup. After pickup, loads may be delayed or cancelled and returned if unsafe conditions do not permit safe completion.
Important Things to Consider:
- Prepared Food and floral deliveries are available in Zone 1 only.
- Perishable product deliveries must be local to the pickup location.
- Loads to or from Canada must be dedicated, direct, and one-way with no more than one pickup OR one drop-off location inside Canada. (At this time, Nicholson Logistics does not hold the authority or bond to take Intra-Canadian loads or make multiple pickups or deliveries within Canada.)
- ALL loads going to or from Canada must have any and all Delivery Order, Bill of Lading, and Manifest paperwork prepared BY the shipper and provided to our office or our driver BEFORE we begin travel to the pickup location.
- We do not service Mexico at this time.
- Any load that requires us to rent or lease another vehicle or special equipment will be additionally charged the total of all associated costs.
- We AVOID tolls whenever possible, but if our customers request that we use toll lanes or bridges for potentially faster delivery, the cost of said tolls will be added.
